The Initial Body Assessment is where I start to untangle why your tension, pain, or tightness keeps coming back.
During this 30-minute session, I do not give a standard massage. Instead, I systematically observe how you stand, move, and breathe, and how your body compensates to keep you upright. I pay close attention to your diaphragm, ribcage, and spine, and how your breath and nervous system are organizing load through your whole structure.
As I gently guide you through simple movements and hands-on checks, I map patterns of strain, support, and collapse. By the end, you have clear language for what I see: where your body is overworking, what is under-supporting, and how that relates to your symptoms.
You leave with practical insight, an honest sense of what is changeable, and a recommendation for next steps, including whether my 8-week Somatic Neuromuscular Program is the right fit for you in Salt Lake City.
